I am a highly experienced problem solver well used to managing difficult situations in challenging conditions. I have been a high achiever in sales and sales management during the first part of my career where I spent most of my time on the corporate treadmill working out how we were going to achieve the quarterly revenue target. In 2003 I escaped from the world of corporate technology and wrote my first business plan, planned and executed my first fund raise and plotted my first exit. Since then I have been doing much the same and have leveraged a significant experience in sales, operations and finance. My skill-set encompasses team building, equity and debt structured funding, managing scalability and exit. I have had many innovative and entrepreneurial journeys and experienced a great many outcomes learning multiple, reusable lessons along the way. Today I am a seasoned Commercial Director providing business owners with hands-on management skills as they attempt to cross the chasm.
You are a business owner-probably an early stage SME with a B2b or B2C proposition with revenues between £2-10 million and trying to plot unchartered waters where the target market or business model is evolving. You will have a sound business plan and a good proposition but for any number of reasons the business is not reaching its potential – lack of sales revenues, stuttering growth or just not enough capital are all contributory factors.
